The records showing that the district’s superintendent — its officer for public information under Texas law — and any public-information coordinator the district has designated completed the Public Information Act training that Texas Government Code Section 552.012 requires: the certificate of completion, the date completed, and the name of the training provider.

Pursuant to the Texas Public Information Act (Texas Government Code Chapter 552), I request copies of the following existing records held by the District:

1. The record of completion — including any certificate of course completion — of the Public Information Act training required by Texas Government Code Section 552.012 for the District's officer for public information (the Superintendent).

2. The same completion record(s) and certificate(s) for any public information coordinator the District has designated under Section 552.012(c) to satisfy the training requirement on the officer's behalf.

3. For each person identified above, the date the training was completed and the name of the entity that provided or approved the training.

Section 552.012(e) requires the District to maintain and make available for public inspection the record of its public officials' and, if applicable, its public information coordinator's completion of this training; accordingly, these are existing records.
