On June 17, 2026 at 8:55 a.m. Central, Whitesboro Independent School District (WBISD) completed production on WBISD-PIA-001 by sending four native library-management-system catalog exports — one per campus — and the CKLA Recommended Trade Books list. LION’s reply this afternoon acknowledges receipt and treats WBISD-PIA-001 as fulfilled in full.
WBISD-PIA-001 is LION’s June 1 public information request under the Texas Public Information Act (Texas Government Code Chapter 552). It asked for (1) the District’s native library-management-system catalog export for every campus, and (2) approved reading lists, supplemental materials lists, and English/Language Arts curriculum book lists used by teachers for the 2025-26 school year. LION’s June 9 follow-up identified two of the three Item 2 categories as unaddressed in the District’s June 8 response. LION’s June 16 verification request asked the District to re-send two items the June 16 Google Document index referenced as attached.
Today’s batch consists of:
- Hayes Primary School Library Catalog — native Destiny Title & Copy List, 1,679 pages, generated June 8 at 6:33 p.m. CT
- Whitesboro Intermediate School Library Catalog — 1,515 pages, generated June 8 at 6:32 p.m. CT
- Whitesboro Middle School Library Catalog — 208 pages, generated June 8 at 6:24 p.m. CT
- Whitesboro High School Library Catalog — 2,447 pages, generated June 8 at 6:25 p.m. CT
- Recommended Trade Books for CKLA Domains — Amplify-published K–5 trade book reference the District designates as its K–5 reading-list anchor
Combined with the June 16 production — a Google Document index linking five sub-documents responsive to Item 2 (an ELA vertical alignment document, a curriculum purchase requisition form, campus-by-campus approved ELAR resource lists for 2024-25 and 2025-26, and an additional approved novels spreadsheet) — the District has now produced records or written confirmation responsive to every part of WBISD-PIA-001.
